How do I take care of my tattoo?
- Washing: Gently wash your tattoo twice a day for the first week, and once a day for the following week with liquid soap using only your hand. Avoid washcloths, loofahs, or any items that may carry bacteria.
- Rinsing and Drying: Rinse with warm water and gently dab dry with clean napkins.
- Moisturizing: Apply a very thin layer of unscented lotion. If your tattoo looks shiny or reflective, you’ve used too much lotion.
- Restrictions:
- No swimming or submerging the tattoo in water.
- Avoid suntanning and direct contact with pets/animals.
- Wear loose clothing; hoodies and long sleeves are fine.
- Stay out of public gyms for the first week to prevent contamination.
